Membership Application

 

Our group members are breastfeeding advocates from the Greater Victoria area including physicians, public health nurses, doulas, breastfeeding counsellors, lactation consultants, nutritionists, La Leche League Leaders, childbirth educators and breastfeeding mothers.

 

Our mission is to fund, facilitate and carry out activities which protect, promote and support breastfeeding. This includes increasing public awareness of the importance of breastfeeding, promoting collaboration among individuals and organizations who support breastfeeding, and promoting professional development for health care providers working with breastfeeding families.

 

We invite you to join us!

 

Membership fees are $20 per calendar year (January to December). Membership fees go towards paying for shipment of donated milk to the Vancouver Milk Bank and towards Breastfeeding Matters events. As a member, you receive special rates at our educational sessions and conferences. We thank you for your support!
